First-time registrations prior to the general registration period

First-time early registration is only possible under certain conditions (see First-semester registration within the University Preparation Programme for more information) and after admission opens at the universities (beginning of January for summer semester, mid-July for winter semester).

First-time registrations after the general registration period

First-time registration after the end of the general registration period is only possible under certain conditions (see First-semester registration within the University Preparation Programme for more information). After the end of the general registration period there is no guarantee for a course place. If there are any remaining course places, they will be allocated.
