Information regarding course registration in summer semester 2026

• First-time registration:
  • For entries into Austria until Dec 15, 2025:
    • Online pre-registration: Dec 10 to Dec 14, 2025, 12:00 pm (CEST)
    • German placement tests (after successful online pre-registration): Dec 16 to Dec 19, 2025
      • Appointments are assigned by VWU, students CANNOT choose the date of the test!

  • For entries into Austria until Jan11, 2026:
    • Online pre-registration: Jan 8 to Jan 19, 2026, 12:00 pm (CEST)
    • German placement tests (after successful online pre-registration): Jan 12 to Jan 29 and Jan 26, 2026
      • Appointments are assigned by VWU, students CANNOT choose the date of the test!

• Course registration for continuing students (online): Will be published in the end of November
• Students from dB / SZUW (course level FG/WF, with one or more supplementary examination other than German in their admission letter, online): For further information please see group b
• Requests for 5^th and 6^th semesters (in person!): Jan 26, Jan 27 and Feb 04, 2026
• Informative meeting (only for new students at VWU in Sechshauser Straße): Feb 19, 2026 (in person), in the afternoon
• Course start (only for students at VWU in Sechshauser Straße): Feb 20, 2026 (first course day is online)
